Bears get good production out of the TE position this season

The Bears looked to their TEs in the passing game a lot more often than in the last few seasons. As a unit they caught 55 passes for 701 yards and 8 TDs. Desmond Clark was the leader of the gang as he played in 16 games (all starts) and he caught 45 passes for 626 yards (13.9 avg) with 6 TD catches. For his career, Clark has played in 114 games (66 starts) and he has caught 218 passes for 2,522 yards (11.6 avg) with 20 TD grabs.

John Gilmore played in 16 games this season (3 starts) and he caught 6 passes for 38 yards (6.3 avg) with 2 TD grabs. For his career, Gilmore has played in 71 games (9 starts) and he has caught 18 passes for 180 yards (10.0 avg) with 3 TD grabs.

Gabe Reid played in 13 games (1 start) and he caught 4 passes for 37 yards (9.3 avg). For his career, Reid has played in 30 games (4 starts) and he has caught 7 passes for 57 yards (8.1 avg).
