The Chicago Bears lose DT Dusty Dvoracek for the season

The Bears have lost starting defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek for the season with a torn ACL. This is a shame as Dvoracek was starting his first game after missing all of last season due to injury and he finished with 2 tackles. Darwin Walker will replace Dvoracek in the starting lineup and he might improve the defense if that’s even possible. He played in all 16 games last season for the Eagles and he made 36 tackles, had 6 sacks, defensed 3 passes and had an interception. He provides a good pass rush up the middle and he has the reputation of being a solid run defender so the Bears are in good shape with him starting.
