1. (14) Chris Williams, OT
The Bears jumped at the chance to get younger in the offensive line when they chose OT Chris Williams from Vanderbilt in the first round. He will likely start right away at left tackle and he is a good pass blocker but he has a lot of issues run blocking as he doesn’t have great power despite his size. He is 6′6″, 317 pounds but sometimes he takes plays off and that just won’t cut it in the cold of Chicago. He played in 35 games (33 starts) the last three seasons for Vanderbilt. If Williams can get more physical in the running game he will likely start a long time for the Bears whose O-Line is still very old.
