4. (120) Craig Steltz, S
Craig Steltz didn’t start fulltime for LSU until his senior season but he had a great year. He doesn’t have the best speed running a 4.62 40 but he does have nice size at 6′1″, 211 pounds. Despite not having great speed Steltz does seem to be around the football quite a bit. He played in 44 games (20 starts) for LSU in his career there and he made 184 tackles, broke up 18 passes, had 11 interceptions, forced 3 fumbles and recovered two fumbles. Steltz doesn’t have the speed to cover deep over the middle but he might make a pretty good strong safety. He will also likely excel on special teams for the Bears as a rookie.
