The Chicago Bears release cornerback Ricky Manning Jr.  This came as a little bit of a surprise as Manning has been a decent player for the Bears.  He played in all 16 games for the Bears last season and he made 44 tackles, has 1 sack and he defensed 1 pass.  In two seasons with the Bears, Manning played in 31 games and he made 97 tackles, had 3 sacks, had 5 interceptions (1 returned for a TD), forced 1 fumble and he defensed 11 passes.  Look for some team desperate for corner help like the Cleveland Browns to possibly snap Manning up quickly.
