Chicago Bears 34, Detroit Lions 7
The Bears totally punished the poor Lions last week in Detroit. The Bears opened up the offense and let Kyle Orton throw the ball around with outstanding results. He completed 24 of 34 passes for 334 yards with 2 TD passes and 0 interceptions. Matt Forte didn’t have his best game of the year rushing for 36 yards (2.4 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 25 yards (6.3 avg) but he scored a TD on the ground and in the air. Rashied Davis (6 rec, 97 yards) and Devin Hester (5 rec, 66 yards, TD) both stepped up in the passing game for the Bears last week. The Bears rolled up an amazing 425 yards in the game last week bogarting the football for 38:15 of the game making it very easy to win. The Lions could only muster 185 yards of offense against the Bears’ stout defense last week. The Bears are now 3-2 on the season with this win.
